Philippines first silver medal in Weight lifting courtesy of Hidilyn Diaz


Filipino's are celebrating for the honor that Hidilyn Diaz Brought to the country.She is the first Filipino female athlete who won a silver medal in weight lifting at the Olympics.She is a native of Zamboanga city and she was also the first Filipino non-boxer athlete to win a silver medal,the total money she won  is five million pesos(5 million).Diaz said she is not after the price,what matters to her is the priceless honor she brought.She was also the youngest who competed in 58 kg division.Her victory brought inspiration to the youth,she inspired young athletes to work and train hard to be able to pursue their dreams.She also said during her interview that nothing is impossible as long as you have faith and trust to God.Diaz Proudly announced that she will be competing in the 2017 Southeast Asian Games (SEA GAMES) in Kuala Lumpur,Malaysia,being the representative to compete once again is a privilege.
